Dear xxxx,
Just doing some more work on this - did the Russell Group submit a response which was not intended for publication? I'm a bit confused as the LSE response to phase 1 notes 'the submission from the Russell Group to the review', but my FOI request was turned down on the grounds that the information was soon to be published. This response explicitly noted that " We will, this week, be publishing the submissions to the Review's first call for evidence, including those which you have requested." I received this response on February 23.
The Russell Group is not responding to requests for more information - if a response was submitted, particularly given the fact that I had a Freedom of Information request turned down on the grounds that the information was soon to be published, please could I have a copy of it?
Many thanks,
Jonny

Hi xxxxx,
Just following up on this - what's the status with the Russell Group submission please? If the Russell Group did submit a response (and the situation on this appears to be confused - LSE's submission suggests that they did as did the initial response to my FOI request) then can I have it please, bearing in mind that all the responses were meant to be made available for publication simultaneously. The other submissions to phase 1 were published over a month ago so I'm not sure what the reason for delay would be if one was submitted.
If they absolutely did not submit a response to phase 1 of the review then it would be good to get final confirmation of this so I can chase them up directly.
Thanks for your help,
Jonny
