Choosing Options Before Arrival (Undergraduate)
Tips on choosing options before you arrive
Before you even arrive in Oxford, you may be asked to choose what topics or options you wish to study. This can be a daunting choice when you've never even met the tutor or considered the areas of study they are asking you to choose between. The best advice is to talk to your subject parent for their experiences, and visit your department website to look for more information, reading lists and maybe lecture notes on the different options so you can make the best choice for you.
