International Students' Careers Event

by Kaushal Vidyarthee last modified 2008-04-29 10:37

A careers event for international students considering staying in the UK after graduating

International Student Considering Working In The UK After Graduation? This Is For You!

OUSU's International Students Campaign and the University Careers Service are jointly organising an event targeted at international undergraduates and graduates who are considering working in the UK following graduation. The panel will discuss both the opportunities for working here upon graduation and the procedures involved, including the points-based system that will soon be implemented by the UK Border Agency.

Date: 1st May (Thursday of 2nd Week)
Time: 7.00pm to 9.00pm
Venue: Centenary Room, Careers Service, Banbury Road

Confirmed speakers include Laura Devine, a highly experienced immigration lawyer, Tracey Wells, Assistant Director of the Careers Service and two recent graduates from Oxford who will be able to share their personal experiences with you.

The event is completely FREE, and you are strongly encouraged to get there early because of limited capacity in the room. Refreshments will be served following the event, and there will be ample opportunities to network and have all your doubts clarified.

Contact Sanjay Nanwani at internationalstudents@ousu.org if you have any queries about the event itself.
