Women needed for student journals

BLUESTOCKING
A new online journal investigating the intellectual and creative achievements of women throughout history. Following the successful online launch of our last issue at the beginning of term, we are looking for people to contribute to our second issue, scheduled to be published in 8th week Writers: We are looking for articles from students of all disciplines, ages and sexes to contribute Issue 2. Articles are just 1000 words each and styled to be both interesting and accessible to all students of the university. All you need to do is think of a woman/female group that you believe made a significant impact on the cultural and intellectual world around her (be it in science, art, literature, politics) and send a short proposal to: editor@blue-stocking.org.uk

Team members: Members of the design and publicity teams are instrumental to the success of this new venture; getting Blue-Stocking noticed through speaker events, socials, poster campaigns and as well as making sure the journal looks as good as the content reads. UNSHACKLED
'Unshackled' is a new publication reporting on human rights abuses and political oppression worldwide. Its aim is to provide members of OxfordUniversity with accessible, well-collated, concise news reports - above allabout events which are not given due exposure in the British media. As well asthese news-snippets, 'Unshackled' will contain one A4 page of a more in-deptharticle which delves into a particular contemporary issue or concern. We arelooking for people with relevant knowledge to write these articles. If you wouldlike to contribute, whether it be for a one-off article or more often, pleaseget in touch by emailing contactunshackled@googlemail.com.

TONE (Oxford Women in Politics)

We are looking for people to write articles for this term's issue of Tone,OxWip's excellent women's journal. It has news, features and a lifestyle section. Previous articles include abortion laws, women in science, travel journalism and a ballet review. All ideas for articles are welcome and if youdon't have any ideas then we will give you one.
