Oxford students are active in a variety of charitable areas and there are many opportunities for interested students to get involved in some pro bono activities and donate some of their time and talents in charitible activity. Oxford RAG
Oxford RAG is the central charitable fundraising arm of OUSU. RAG stands for 'Raise and Give' and has been raising money for a wide range of good causes in universities for over 100 years. The Oxford RAG has a fantastic spirit and the 'raggies' get a lot out of organising a range of entertainment events. Environment and Ethics Committee
The OUSU Environment and Ethics Committee is one of the most active and popular campaigning groups in Oxford. They meet every Thursday at 5.30pm in the OUSU offices to work on college, university, Oxford and nationwide campaigns. The Oxford HUB
The Oxford Hub is the focal point for charitable activity at Oxford University, connecting students with causes - whether local, national, or international. It's the place to go to get involved in charitable, volunteer and socially entrepreneurial activities, and for up-to-date information on socially-minded events, careers, international development and training.
Careers Service
Oxford University Careers Service is one of the best equipped in the country and its facilities are available to all students of the University, including for up to four years after they leave. We are determined to help all students, whatever their career interests may be, and can provide guidance and information about Charitable, Social Enterprise, Humanitarian, Development and Voluntary sectors.
