Mature Students

I am a Mature Student, is there any specific support available for me?

Mature students are technically those who were 21 or over when they matriculated.  Although there are no formal University services in place specifically for mature students, OUSU has a Mature Students officer who, along with the Vice-President for Graduates, maintains a mailing list for mature students and puts on social events several times a term.  These not only offer the opportunity to meet other mature students across the university but also give you the opportunity to raise any concerns with the OUSU officers, who can then taken them up on your behalf with the university.  OUSU has worked with the University to improve the information on the University’s Mature Students webpage.
