Information for those interested in working at this year's Fair

About stewarding

OUSU need people to work as Stewards at this year's Freshers' Fair and help over 1, 000 visitors an hour through the Exam Schools. You'll be providing answers to basic questions and ensure the Fair remains safe event for all. You'll meet a great team of enthusiastic people, and, in return, you'll get the following for every shift worked:

  • Free entry to the Fair
  • Free entry to any two ZOO nights of your choice during Michaelmas 2007
  • Free t-shirt
  • Free lunch
If you're interested, you'll need to be available in Oxford on Monday 1 October. We have six shifts available, one in the morning and one in the afternoon for each day that the Fair is running, from Wednesday 3 to Friday 5 October, although the exact times may vary from day to day.

You can find out more information by reading the Stewarding FAQs, or stewards@ousu.org.

Already applied?

If you've already applied, then thank you very much! We'll be doing our very best to match you up with the shift preferences that you requested, and will get back to you by the end of September with more information. In the meantime, if you have any further questions, please consult the stewarding FAQs, or get in touch with us by e-mailing stewards@ousu.org.
