First Week OUSU Council

by Martin McCluskey last modified 2007-10-11 13:43

The agenda for OUSU's first Council meeting of this academic year is published

Friday sees the first meeting of OUSU Council of this academic year. Council is the Governing Body of the Student Union and sets the agenda for work done by OUSU's Executive and campaigns throughout the year.

Friday's meeting (at 2.30pm in Keble College's Roy Griffiths Room) will see members of Council discuss the Student Union's Advice Service, the University's proposed redevelopment of the Radcliffe Infirmary Site and the situation in Burma.

While voting members of Council only include members of OUSU Executive, Campaigns and JCR and MCR representatives, the meeting is open to everyone and you can come along, participate in the debates and make sure your voice is heard. If you've never been to Council before or are baffled by its procedures, check out our Quick Guide to Council.

You can read the agenda in full here.
