All graduate students are welcome to this event, where University and OUSU members will be discussing the developments in graduate education at Oxford, and looking for YOUR views about how the graduate experience can be improved.

On the 19th February (Tuesday of sixth week), University staff, OUSU officers and graduate students will be gathering to discuss the developments in graduate education at Oxford.


So far, confirmed to speak are:

Dr Colin Bundy, Warden, Green College
Professor Elizabeth Fallaize, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Education
Dr Richard Boyd, Acting Head, Medical Sciences Division
Professor Jeremy Johns, Deputy Chair, Humanities Division
Professor Tim Softley, Vice Chairman Academic, MPLS Division
Dr David Mills, Centre for Excellence in Teaching Learning Coordinator, Social Sciences Division
Martin McCluskey, President, OUSU
Ingrid Frater, Vice-President Graduates, OUSU


These speakers will be discussing developments across the University and the Student Union, and talking about what the future is likely to hold. After the speakers, we will form focus groups to discuss the University and Student Union’s future developments with regard to the graduate experience at Oxford, looking for your views on how the experience can be improved.


Wine, juice and homemade nibbles will be provided. All graduate students are warmly invited to this event.
