International Students Conservation Day

by Claire Addison last modified 2007-10-25 05:17

If you're ready to escape Oxford already, come along this Saturday to Aston Rowant Nature Park for some light conservation work. Under the guidance of Natural England, we'll be removing scrub and bushes which threaten the reserve's famous wildflower meadows. Beautiful views over Oxfordshire from the top of the hill! Wear warm clothes and sensible shoes. We'll be provided with tools and training. Bring a packed lunch, and some marshmallows for the bonfire at the end! We'll meet at Oxford Bus Station (behind Gloucester Green) at 9.10 to get the Oxford Tube which takes us to the park (it's the stop after the Park and Ride). For more details contact Claire at charities@ousu.org.
