Public speaking workshop

"How do I tell everyone how wonderful I am without sounding arrogant?"

The basics of persuading others to trust you. Express yourself clearly,
concisely and powerfully. Learn to handle awkward questions effectively.
Make a strong impression.

These skills and more are the focus of our public speaking workshop, as part of
our ongoing campaign to increase female representation in student politics.
Don't worry if you have no experience - that's what this is for!

The trainer is Neill Harvey-Smith, Director of Debate Chamber. Neill helps
people communicate more effectively all over the world and has worked with a
variety of women's networks and organisations.

The workshop will be focussing specifically on issues relating to women and public speaking,
it is open to both men and women.
