Oxfordshire Specialist Community Addiction Service (SCAS):
Oxfordshire Specialist Community Addictions Service (SCAS) provides assessment and treatment to people with drug and alcohol addictions. The service is largely community based and is provided jointly with GPs in health centres or resource centres (shared care) across the county

This service accepts referrals from GPs, CMHTs, self referrals and non-statutary agencies. However, all prospective service users must have an Oxfordshire GP.

Are a non-profit, independent, charity and leading provider of specialist services to those affected by drug and alcohol use.
Oxford City CDA
Oxford City CDA (Community Drug Agency) is one of Cranstoun’s community based services. Incorporated under the CDA management are two additional services: BaseLine, Crack Cocaine Support, and, OCHRS (Oxford City Harm Reduction Service)
Clients can self refer or be referred by another agency.

Oxfordshire Women's Services
Oxfordshire Women’s Service (OWS) is a new drug and alcohol service for women across Oxfordshire. The service is new and is currently being developed, but some services are operating already.
We accept self referrals or referrals via other professionals and agencies.

Oxford City Harm Reduction Service (OCHRS)
Provides harm reduction advice, information and resources for anyone with drug use concerns regardless of the legal status of the drugs involved. The OCHRS also provides a needle exchange service and SWOP packs. The staff are all trained in Harm reduction and you can also access referrals to other services.

SWOP Pharmacies
SWOP is the name of the needle-exchange scheme operating in Oxfordshire. There are currently twenty-eight pharmacies offering SWOP under a local enhanced service in partnership with Oxfordshire DAAT and PCT. The pharmacies offer a very important service that allows injecting drug users to access free sterile equipment, whilst also providing a means of safe disposal

Shared Care Pharmacies
Community Pharmacists are part of the Shared Care scheme for drug users in Oxfordshire. The Community Pharmacies work as part of a team alongside the General Practitioners, Addictions Nurses and patients. Community Pharmacies are located throughout Oxfordshire to provide easy access and choice to drug users on supervised prescriptions. The pharmacy Shared Care service is formalised through a local enhanced service in partnership with the Oxfordshire DAAT and Primary Care Trust (PCT).
